No mortar, no shortcuts. Three generations of stonework, laid by hand across Kerry's farms, gardens and boundary walls. Scroll to watch one go up — or click the wall and add your own stone.

First — the visit

We walk the ground with you

We look at the stone that's already on site, talk through what's realistic, and figure out the line the wall wants to take.

Most of our walls are still standing from decades back. This one will be too.

Working stone

What we use depends on what the site gives us — and what the wall needs to do.

Kerry limestone
Our default for field boundaries — weathers to a soft grey and locks together tightly without mortar.
Old red sandstone
Warmer tone, common around Dingle and Killarney. Softer to cut, striking against green fields.
Fieldstone
Whatever the ground turns up. Cheapest option if you've cleared stone already sitting on site.
Quartzite
Harder, slower to lay, but holds a sharp edge — used for gate pillars and feature walls.

What people say

They walked the field with us before quoting anything. No pressure, just straight talk about what would actually hold.
— M. Sullivan, Killarney
Storm took out forty metres of an old wall. They matched the stone so well you can't tell where the repair starts.
— D. Falvey, Cahersiveen
Quoted in two days, finished on the date they said. Hard to find that in any trade these days.
— C. O'Shea, Listowel

Common questions

A straightforward 50–100m field boundary usually runs one to two weeks, weather depending. Terracing and feature walls take longer — we'll give you a real timeline with the quote.

Where we can. If there's cleared fieldstone sitting around, it's often the cheapest option and saves you sourcing costs. We'll tell you honestly if it's not enough or not right for the job.

Dry-stone relies purely on the fit and weight of the stones — no mortar, and it can move slightly with the ground without cracking. Mortared walls are more rigid, better for retaining heavier loads like terracing.

Mostly we stay within Kerry and neighbouring parts of Cork and Limerick. For bigger jobs further out, get in touch and we'll see what's possible.

Tell us about your wall.

Send a few photos of the site and we'll get back to you with a fixed quote — usually within a day.
